This is a script that helps scan documents and save them as DjVu files (with very high compression ratio).

When choosing an existing file for saving, it is possible to append to the file.

The script is optimized for low-color documents, the resulting DjVu file is black & white (also it is better to use black & white mode in Xsane dialog).

Used packages are kdialog, sane, xsane, imagemagick, and djvulibre.

Tested under SUSE Linux 10.0.
