SGI recently announced that their ICE X supercomputer platform garnered 4 of the top 5 most efficient supercomputer rankings for standard x86-based systems, including the #1 position.

suse_poweredThe systems are at the Irish Centre for High-End Computing, T-Systems, and the Atomic Weapons Establishment- Spruce A and Spruce B.

All of these systems are running SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 and showcase the strong technical partnership between SUSE and SGI.  We continue to work closely with SGI and look forward to continuing our joint presence on the Top 500 list.
