What prepared you for this role?
I built my career working in IT — problem solving is what I have been doing since I earned my diploma. I’ve worked my way up at SUSE to become both a Team Lead for Asia Pacific & Japan, and Senior Support Engineer.

How does your work help customers succeed?
We help customers in their path to success by mitigating every obstacle or difficulty they might face in their IT infrastructure. My peers and I are focused on one goal: to help our customers.

Why do you enjoy working in support at SUSE?
Above all, I really like to work with my colleagues. My work with them involves constant learning and knowledge sharing. Because SUSE is constantly growing, I’m always motivated for future challenges.

Why do you enjoy working in support at SUSE?
The support role is a very dynamic position: we constantly interact with customers and other engineers. I love the way our technical discussions translate into helping our customers.

What motivates your work?
The variety of support tickets I work on makes it fascinating to learn all the ways our customers are utilizing open source SUSE technology. And my colleagues always keep me motivated — their passion and knowledge of Linux help me to improve every day.

What gives you a sense of accomplishment?
Every time we successfully deliver a solution and can close the ticket! Because every ticket closed means the world gets a bit better thanks to our contribution.

What prepared you for this role?
I personally started with Linux by installing the original version of openSUSE when it was first released. Since then, I have loved using Linux and have returned to the best distribution!

How does your work help customers succeed?
Not everything goes as planned. Whether an application goes down due to a power outage, or customers need to implement new technology, SUSE Support helps customers reach ideal operations, and provides fast assistance where needed.

What gives you a sense of accomplishment?
When my assistance makes a big difference for a customer. This could be by helping resolve a large and complex issue, improving their processes, or simply helping the customer gain further understanding.
