Why Wait for SAP S/4HANA?

SAP has clearly stated that all roads to its intelligent ERP solution will go through SAP HANA. You know that they will stop supporting all relational databases like Oracle and DB2 in 2025 and you’re thinking, “But it’s 2018 and this will be a big project with a lot of unknowns. I can wait.” That is completely understandable. Implementing SAP S/4HANA isn’t just about your infrastructure; it’s about fundamentally transforming your business operations for greater agility. You probably have legitimate questions about how this will affect your business units and IT operations. Or maybe you’ve seen the performance benefits of in-memory computing, but you’re not sure SAP S/4HANA is sufficiently mature for production in your business. If only there was a way you could get answers to these questions without a sales call that you’re not ready for yet.

Well you’re in luck! SAP is hosting a series of Live Q&A Chats titled “Why Wait for SAP S/4HANA?” Of course, this is a rhetorical question. Seven years may seem like a long time, but it will be here before you know it. This interactive webinar series will give you practical steps to getting started on the journey to the benefits of S/4HANA now.

The first Q&A session is titled “SAP S/4HANA Business and IT Impact”, and is coming up quickly on Tuesday, August 21st. In this 2-minute teaser video, you can get a quick overview of what the transition to SAP S/4HANA will mean for your business operations and what it takes to deploy it.

The second session is titled “SAP S/4HANA Roadmap and Maturity”, and is available on Wednesday, September 19th. This 2-minute video gives you an idea of what the session covers. It also might clear up any confusion you have about what SAP S/4HANA is really for and where it’s going.

The third and final session in the series is titled “SAP S/4HANA Customer Momentum”, and is available on Wednesday, October 10th. Here is a 2-minute video that gives examples of large customers and large deployments of SAP S/4HANA. Still not sure? Attend this session to learn more.

You can register for any or all of the sessions in this Live Q&A series here. As you complete each session be sure to visit our solution webpage “Take the Leap” and learn how SUSE can ease the move to SAP HANA and S/4HANA. It is dedicated to customers like you who need information on deploying and maintaining your SAP S/4HANA systems on premise, in the cloud or both.
