Upgrade from SUSE CaaS Platform 2 to 3

Today, we released SUSE CaaS Platform 3. It is now available and supporting new installations. For those looking to upgrade from version 2 to version 3, we will be delivering this capability in the near future.

However, you can get started today on preparations. Make sure you cluster has the latest maintenance updates for version 2, as this will be a prerequisite for the upgrade.

We are in the process of finishing up our testing and will inform you separately when the upgrade is ready.

Please be aware that as part of these upgrades, we are introducing a new channel to deliver version 3. So, If you are using SUSE Manager or the SUSE Subscription Management Tool (SMT), you will need to mirror the new channels for any new installation and for the upgrade.
