Update on Oracle Certifications with SLES 15

Latest Versions of Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware Certified

The latest versions of Oracle Database and Oracle Fusion Middleware and related products are available with SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 15. This provides flexibility to customers who are migrating from SLES 12 to 15, and for Oracle customers who are still running older versions of the database and middleware products.

Oracle Database 19c is certified with SLES 15

In a blog post earlier this year, regarding Oracle Database 19c certification with SLES 12, I wrote about some of the great new database features available with 19c. Now, these new capabilities are available on SLES 15. Oracle 19c, a long term support release, is the target for customers moving from older versions. The following 19c related products are certified with SLES 15:

• Oracle Database 19c
• Oracle Database Client for Linux 19c
• Oracle Clusterware 19c
• Oracle Real Applications Clusters 19c

Oracle Fusion Middleware 12.2.1.4 is certified with SLES 15

In September, Oracle announced the availability of Oracle Fusion Middleware 12.2.1.4, with immediate support for SLES 15. Oracle Fusion Middleware is a complete family of application infrastructure products, from the Java application server to SOA and enterprise portal, and technologies to speed implementation and lower the cost of management and change.

This brings all the Fusion Middleware products to SLES 15, including:  WebLogic Server, Oracle Identity and Access Management, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle Coherence (available on IBM Z with SLES 15), Oracle Data Integrator Agent, Oracle Data Integrator Studio, Oracle Traffic Director, Oracle WebCenter Sites (including Satellite Server, Site Capture, and Visitor Services), Oracle GoldenGate Veridata (Java Agent, Server), Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality – Java Web Start Apps, Oracle GoldenGate Studio, and more!  See Oracle’s certification pages for full details.  Oracle Fusion Middleware 12.2.1.3 is also certified with SLES 15.
