Today, we are launching the new SUSE One Partner Program on day one of the Digital SUSE Partner Summit 2020. Why do this, and why now?
Our ecosystem is changing. Many of our partners are transforming to meet customers where they are. This transformation is being driven by the cloud, and partners who were traditionally resellers or Independent Hardware Providers or Independent Software Providers are looking for ways to wrap hardware, software, cloud infrastructure and services together to create customer-centric solutions.
So we need to meet our partners where they are. That means we have simplified our many siloed programs into one, encompassing programs with a new partner relationship platform and learning system that is easier to navigate. We are modernizing the program to be organized to support customers’ digital transformations and to provide benefits to partners to drive value into their businesses. And we are evolving our co-sell programs to help accelerate value and revenue.
Starting today, we are becoming one holistic program across all routes – uniting several different programs. We are changing from a route focus because partners are transcending beyond this into areas of specialization, especially INNOVATE, BUILD, SELL, MANAGE, SERVICE and TRAIN. To support this new program, we are adding enablement to support the specializations, offering multiple certifications at both the individual and company levels to showcase competencies, skills and supportable product integrations.
More important, we have a program that rewards investment and a commitment to SUSE with an increased return on investment. We are launching a new Deal Registration program today and will be introducing additional, similar programs soon.
Finally, we want to co-innovate with partners. More and more, the market is demanding integrated, certified and reliable solutions that alleviate customer pain points while enabling them to agilely provide a platform for innovation. We are meeting some of this need with SUSE One Partner Solution Stacks, providing integrated, workload-driven supported solutions. We are forming partner advisory boards, and some of our specializations are designed to foster innovation.
