Clear your diaries for the 25 – 29 September and book your flights to the historic city of Prague! It’s time for SUSECONthe conference for the passionate community of SUSE Linux (other product lines are available) fans, followers, users, developers, customers and of course, our partners.

Want to know why I’m looking forward to it? Here’s why I think SUSECON is for our Partner community and why I’m extending an open invitation to you to join us this year.

  1. SUSE Global Partner Summit

This is the largest annual gathering of our partners from across our partner ecosystem – and if you’ve been faithfully attending SUSECON, then you’ll know that this has just been getting bigger every year.

This year, the SUSE Global Partner Summit will feature all the usual suspects. You don’t want to miss great content like:

  • Understanding our future direction and strategy
  • Getting the heads’ up on our product roadmap
  • Having your most burning questions answered by me and the rest of our leadership team
  • And for the first time – separate breakout tracks for sales and technical so that you and your colleagues can get the most out of the Partner Summit

The SUSE Global Partner Summit kicks off the week on Monday, before the official agenda for SUSECON begins. It is free for partners to attend. I want to see you there – please register and secure your place today.

  1. Share the Limelight at SUSECON

Have an exciting customer story to share? We definitely want to hear from you. Stories like these are too valuable, too interesting, not to share and SUSECON is the best platform for you to get your story out to the community. The call for papers is open.

Or why not showcase how you can help end users with the challenges that they are facing in their enterprises today by exhibiting in our Technology Showcase? We have put together some attractive options to help you extend your reach.

  1. Hands-on Technical Sessions

We have over 100 hours of hands-on technical sessions, run by SUSE experts. Bring your conundrums to be dissected and solved.

Or enrich your SUSE knowledge by joining one of the workshops that our Training and Enablement team have put together, including:

  • Advanced Features of SUSE Enterprise Storage
  • Deployment Options for SUSE OpenStack Cloud
  • Exploring Salt
  • Exam Prep for the SCA and SCE in Enterprise Linux

If playing around with fresh code excites you as much as it does our technical experts, then you really need to book your tickets now.

  1. Get Certified at SUSECON

I know you love to multi-task, so included in the price of your SUSECON registration fee are the SUSE Certified Administrator exams for Enterprise Linux, OpenStack and Storage and the SUSE Certified Engineer exam for Enterprise Linux. These will be offered at specific timeslots from Tuesday – Thursday.

Remember, we don’t require our partners to commit to any revenue targets. What we are interested in is building a highly skilled channel. So if you want to be an Accredited or Solution partner, SUSECON is a great opportunity for you to earn the necessary technical certifications.

I encourage you to get prepared now – find and do the training courses that will prepare you to take the certification exams before SUSECON, then attend the event, ace the exams, and feel proud when you show your manager what you have managed to accomplish.

  1. Partners Enjoy 25% Off

Partnering with SUSE has its privileges, and one of them is shaving 25% off the cost of attending SUSECON. Get your exclusive partner code by contacting your Partner Executive or logging in to the SUSE Partner Portal.

See you in Prague at SUSECON 2017!
