SUSECON 2020 Call for Papers Is Now Open

We are currently accepting proposals for presentations, demonstrations, workshops, and labs

SUSECON is all about sharing the latest technical advances, best practices, customer experiences, and visions for the future. True to our “open” culture, we invite all customers, partners, engineers, developers, community members, and business leaders to submit a session proposal for you to share your expertise.

Submit your session idea here before Call for Papers closes on October 25, 2019.

Sessions will be selected and submitters will be notified mid-December.

The session catalog will be posted early January 2020.

If you haven’t been to a SUSECON before or are wondering where you should start, here are a few things to keep in mind. You can also view the SUSECON 2019 Session Archive for inspiration.

We are accepting applications that:

  • Speak to the following audience technical levels:
    • Business Level Overview (No technical information and assumes a business audience with no technical background)
    • Technical Beginner (A technical discussion to introduce the basics and assumes the audience is technical but unfamiliar with this particular topic)
    • Technical Intermediate (A technical discussion and assumes the audience is familiar with the topic but not expert)
    • Technical Advanced (A technical discussion and assumes the audience is very familiar with the topic and is looking for in-depth learning)
  • Follow either of these formats and session types:
    • Hands-on Workshop
    • Lecture
      • Business Overview
      • Case Study
      • Developer
      • Tutorial
      • Support and Troubleshooting
      • Best Practices – Configuration, Deployment, Performance Tuning
  • Address any of the following categories:
    • Application Delivery Solutions
    • Cloud Solutions
    • Software-defined Storage Solutions
    • Enterprise Linux
    • High Performance Computing
    • Open Source for SAP Applications
    • IT Infrastructure Management Solutions
    • Other Open Source Solutions
  • Focus on any of the following topics
    • Application Delivery
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • Big Data
    • Business Applications & Middleware on Linux
    • Cloud Infrastructure
