SUSE Sponsors IBM Conference in the Big Easy

Once again SUSE is a proud sponsor of the IBM Power Systems and IBM Storage Technical University this time in New Orleans, also known as “The Big Easy”, the week of October 16^th. And with SUSE open source solutions it doesn’t get any “Easy-er” (I’m sorry … that was bad) to deploy and maintain SAP environments on IBM Power servers.

Our partnership with IBM on the Power Systems platform for the last 3 years has very successfully centered on delivering an enterprise solution for SAP HANA. For over 2 years now, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications has been and continues to be the only platform validated for SAP HANA on IBM Power. They will talk about how much “Easy-er” (I did it again!) it is to manage SAP HANA on IBM Power with SUSE Manager, and includes a technology preview of SUSE Linux Enterprise Live Patching on Power servers. This session includes a demo, so don’t miss it!
