SUSE Receives Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 for Software Eco-System Excellence

Last week SUSE received the Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 for Software Eco-System Excellence at the Ericsson award ceremony in Stockholm. SUSE was recognized for its ability to adapt and integrate its products in complex, multi-vendor environments. The Ericsson Supplier Award 2016 for Software Eco-system Excellence recognizes the long-standing partnership of Ericsson and SUSE on SUSE Linux products and solutions used in Ericsson’s solutions.

The motivation for the award is, according to Ericsson’s Eva Andrén “for significant responsiveness and flexibility in meeting Ericsson’s demands, in particular with regards to operating in a multi-vendor environment, resulting in consistent and excellent deliverables.”

Our mission is to provide and support Enterprise Linux and open-source solutions with exceptional service, value and flexibility. We are very proud that Ericsson, a global SUSE customer, recognized SUSE as their Software Eco-system Excellence winner for 2016. This confirms that we truly deliver on our mission.

Within SUSE’s wide range of Enterprise software solutions based on open source technology, Ericsson is using several of those products for developing their own solutions.
