Kubernetes wide adoption brought with it the need for consistency and portability. The common goal of all Kubernetes providers is to allow the move of workloads from one environment to another.

This year in June, we announced the availability of SUSE CaaS Platform. SUSE CaaS Platform is an enterprise class container management solution that enables IT and DevOps professionals to more easily deploy, manage, and scale container-based applications and services – and is powered by Kubernetes. As a result, enterprises can reduce application delivery cycle times and improve their business agility.

Certified Kubernetes 1.7

A key component of SUSE’s software defined infrastructure solutions portfolio, SUSE CaaS Platform helps you achieve faster time to value, simplify management and control of your container platform, and maximize return on your investment.

Today, the CNCF, the foundation behind Kubernetes, officially launched the Kubernetes Conformance Software Certification. We’re proud to announce that our product passes the certification and thus SUSE CaaS
Platform 2 contains a certified Kubernetes 1.7.
