SAPPHIRE NOW: Moving your workloads to the cloud
Yesterday at SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP announced that SAP Cloud Platform is now available on all major cloud infrastructure providers. SAP also intends to release SAP Cloud Platform, private edition, on IBM Cloud as a private cloud deployment. The target customers for the SCP private edition are regulated industries such as banking, healthcare and transportation, but also companies managing flexible data they don’t want to move to the public cloud. What you may not know is that SUSE OpenStack Cloud 7 and SUSE Enterprise Storage build the foundation of SAP Cloud Platform, private edition on IBM Cloud. They are key elements of SAP Cloud Platform, providing robust, enterprise-grade infrastructure services for running applications that allow businesses to collect, manage, analyze and leverage information of all types, to extend and connect to business systems.
