Yesterday at SAPPHIRE NOW, SAP announced that SAP Cloud Platform is now available on all major cloud infrastructure providers. SAP also intends to release SAP Cloud Platform, private edition, on IBM Cloud as a private cloud deployment. The target customers for the SCP private edition are regulated industries such as banking, healthcare and transportation, but also companies managing flexible data they don’t want to move to the public cloud.
