Participating in an Industry Focused Peer Community

Would you like to participate in a community of other Micro Focus (Novell/SUSE/NetIQ/Micro Focus/Borland) customers in your same industry?   Are you in Healthcare?  Federal or Local Government?  Small Business? Something else?

Sometimes it’s nice to be able to talk to someone that has the same concerns and issues you do.  Someone that knows the rules you have to live by.   Often if you go to our Support Forums or search our Knowledgebase you get generalized information but sometimes it doesn’t apply because of the special circumstances you are in.  It would be great to discuss your issue with someone that understands your situation and has been there.

We currently have such a program for customers involved in Academics and we’re looking to expand into other areas of focus.  The main benefits of this type of organization are the knowledge sharing among the community members and the self-help resources they provide.

As well as discussing your issues, these peer communities can also be a platform to participate in personal and collective feedback to the company on software development desires, product roadmaps, bugs, and future products as it relates to your industry.

If this is something that interests you, please take just a minute to fill out a one answer poll:  http://bit.ly/peer_communities and leave some comments in the discussion thread if you have specific desires or ideas around this concept.

We’d like to know which peer industry you are interested in.    Such communities can be public or can be private and covered by a non-disclosure agreement so you can freely discuss issues without your private information being made public.

Let us know what you would like to see and we’ll see if we have enough people interested to make it feasible.   Thanks for taking the time.
