For more than 14 years, B1 Systems and SUSE have worked together in a successful partnership. If we include the two years that B1 Systems founder Ralph Dehner spent as a Linux Trainer for SUSE and others (before he started B1 Systems in 2004), this happy relationship has lasted more than 16 years. Whereas, over the course of time, some relationships are lacking and become spiritless, that isn’t the case here. This dynamic partnership between B1 Systems and SUSE is ever-expanding.

Since becoming a SUSE Solution Partner, B1 Systems is now also certified for SUSE CaaS Platform, which offers Kubernetes innovation in a comprehensive enterprise container management solution. This allows IT teams for application development and DevOps to implement, manage and scale container-based applications and services.

Every modern company, whether it is a small to medium-size company or a global player, has containers at the top of their agenda: one of many changes in line with the digital transformation”, says Ralph Dehner, CEO and founder of B1 Systems. “This process is mainly driven by IT with containers and DevOps models setting the right directions. For many years, working side by side with SUSE, the B1 team has developed deep expert knowledge in the beneficial use of open source innovation for enterprise solutions.”

For Ralph Dehner open source is much more than just “grasping“ new developments from the community. Since its founding, the B1 Systems team is actively engaged in many projects and “upstreams“ their own development to the open source community.

As a SUSE Solution Partner, B1 Systems, is at the highest partner tier in the SUSE Partner Program. The Solution Partner tier is exclusively awarded to selected partners, who distinguish themselves by unique engagement, innovation, knowledge of the market and deep technical expertise. Thus customers can be sure to have the right partner at their side for planning, implementing and operating their high available enterprise solutions.
