SUSE Partners with NVIDIA on AI Journey From the Edge to Core to Cloud

Today, SUSE stated its support of the announcement of the NVIDIA EGX AI platform which other key independent hardware vendors and software infrastructure providers have also endorsed.

The expanded platform, announced during the GPU Technology Conference keynote today, showcases NVIDIA’s vision for a disaggregated AI environment: It’s one that empowers the deployment of AI where customer requirements dictate as opposed to where the capability currently reside. From the Edge, to the Core, all the way to the Cloud.

SUSE is collaborating with NVIDIA to deliver the hardware and software-defined infrastructure required by customers to build, deploy, secure and support these solutions. NVIDIA provides hardware and AI software and SUSE provides open-source, software-defined infrastructure.

Empowering the customer AI journey

Some of the key SUSE elements that can be used in your AI journey from the Edge, to Core, to Cloud include:

• Operating System platform in the form of SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for Arm with support for x86 and aarch64 architectures, including the Bluefield-2 DPU that’s part of the expanded EGX AI platform.
• Delivering High Performance Computing (HPC) without limits and support for NVIDIA’s GPUs with SUSE Linux Enterprise High Performance Computing.
