Manage multiple Linux flavors with SUSE Manager custom channels

Just because you use different flavors of Linux in your enterprise shouldn’t mean you have to use different tools to manage them all. With SUSE Manager and its ability to define custom repository channels, you don’t have to.

This new SUSE Guide explains how to add Linux repositories for SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Ubuntu and CentOS, and walks you through the process of managing them all through the SUSE Manager WebUI. It’s ideal for anyone looking to more easily manage patches, updates and system customizations that span just a few or hundreds of virtual and bare-metal servers running different Linux OSes.

If you’re already running SUSE Manager 4.0, great. You’re ready to give this how-to a try. If not, try downloading a free 60-day trial of SUSE Manager today.
