When spring is coming we start getting ready to leave the house and exercise, see some blooming fields, soak up on Vitamin D and… participate on the HPE Technology and Solutions Summits in Asia and Europe, of course.

Last month we sponsored those great events for another year and sent our Experts and Alliance Team to Macau (March 12-15) and The Hague (March 19-22) where we discussed some of our cool offerings such as:

Macau (March 12-15)

Together with the HPE Category Management team and the PointNext Cloud team, we have jointly presented the latest technologies in Hybrid IT, containerizations, software defined infrastructure and various mission critical technologies.

Our regional experts took the chance to demonstrate the unique capabilities and use cases of our SUSE’s offering. Further added with the insights from the HPE PointNext’s experts, we have integrated the platform, software solution and professional services into a consumable technology to HPE’s customers.

For the first time, we have also previewed the soon-to-be announced HPE Helion OpenStack Cloud 8 in APAC. Our team has jointly illustrated the roadmap, capabilities, differentiations and upgrade path of the Helion Openstack offerings.

The Hague (March 19-22)

Complementing our 2 sponsored sessions, SUSE was also featured on another 4 HPE sessions/labs giving attendees multiple opportunities to connect with our SUSE Team.

Bryan Gartner, SUSE Sr. Technology Strategy covered SUSE Linux Enterprise 15 (now on public beta) and our joint work with HPE around Performance & Scale (including HPE recently announced world’s first “diskless database” with Microsoft and SUSE).

And, the HPE team covered SUSE Enterprise Storage (with a “real world stories” session & also an installation hands-on lab), SUSE CaaS Platform and SUSE Cloud Application Platform (covering what has happened to Stackato and SUSE`s new CloudFoundry superstar!) and last, but definitely not least HPE OpenStack strategy, products and roadmap (a great collaboration between the 2 companies).

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who visited SUSE`s booth and/or joined our sessions on both events.

Looking forward to seeing you all again next year!
