Czech Technical University in Prague partners with the SUSE Academic Program

Many are excited about the opportunity to teach Linux to students, including the Faculty of Information Technology at Czech Technical University in Prague. A newly established partnership allows for expansion of Linux education at the largest technical university in the Czech Republic.

Being a leading technical university in Europe, CTU and SUSE have had a long commercial relationship providing Linux and Open Source Software. Recently, this relationship has gone further with the use of the SUSE Academic Program and the idea is to provide students with courses, educational resources and access to certifications.

With the new academic year well und it all starts with education. Sharing in the “Open Open” mentality, the SUSE Academic Program is at no-cost and completely open to all academic institutions globally. We encourage all members of academic institutions to login or register at suse.com/academic
