Securelinx is the UK and Ireland’s first Solution Partner, a culmination of a joint partnership that goes back to 2003.
Let’s just take a minute to consider what that means. The Solution Partner tier in the SUSE Partner Program is the highest tier in the Program. A Solution Partner who takes on the mettle of Solution Partner is one that not only has an acute understanding of the market, but also has the deep technical expertise to implement and support robust, highly available and high performing solutions that meet customers’ needs today.

The Journey to Solution Partner
To start with, Securelinx already had a core of SLES certified engineers. The next step was aligning the SUSE solution areas with the team members’ interests and background experience.
“We quickly got to the point of having logical groupings within our team looking at Storage, SUSE Manager and OpenStack. After that it was a question of building out these solutions in our labs and engaging with customer opportunities to further increase our skills,” says Brian. “In parallel with those customer activities, team members also attended relevant SUSE training courses (both onsite & online). Of course, no one relishes sitting exams! But the team recognised that converting their knowledge into an industry certification brings significant advantages both for the company and themselves”.

Not only can SUSE Solution Partners profit from deal registration, we also engage closely on opportunities, campaigns and new initiatives, giving significant advantage to the partner.
