Wrap Text in Spreadsheet Cells

Because the command isn’t called “wrap text” in Spreadsheet, some users have a hard time finding how to force text in cells to wrap. Once you know where the command is; however, it’s easy to find and use. Follow the steps below to wrap text within a spreadsheet cell:

  1. Select the cell or cells with the text you want to wrap.
  2. Right-click and select Format Cells.
  3. Click the alignment tab.

  4. In the Properties area, check the Automatic line break box.
  5. Click OK.
