Swiss open source service provider is now SUSE Solution Partner

SUSE and Adfinis SyGroup had a reason to celebrate: Adfinis SyGroup is now a SUSE Solution Partner.

Solution Partner is the highest tier in the SUSE Partner Program and is awarded to partners who demonstrate an acute understanding of the market and have deep technical expertise. This ensures customers have the optimal partner on their side for planning, implementing and supporting their robust, highly available and high performing enterprise solutions.

Since 2000 the open source experts from Adfinis SyGroup have offered a broad range of one-stop services and solutions. The intensive partnership with SUSE started in early 2014. The SUSE motto „We adapt, you succeed“ complements Adfinis SyGroup’s business ethos. The innovative, tailor-made enterprise solutions of the Swiss team are aligned with customer needs, so companies can partake in the digital transformation in their own speed. Here open technologies and standards are key for innovation.

Adfinis SyGroup and SUSE are both advocates of an open source model, which allows customers to freely select all components of the stack according to their needs – a philosophy which we call open, open source. Adfinis SyGroup constantly broadens its expertise: besides working in early beta-test programs the Swiss team actively contributes to open source projects. From a very early stage Adfinis SyGroup and SUSE have partnered in joint customer projects utilising software defined infrastructure-solutions such as SUSE OpenStack Cloud, SUSE Enterprise Storage and SUSE CaaS Platform. Other joint projects include DevOps and Cloud Foundry with SUSE Cloud Application Platform.

Digital Sustainability

Digital transformation is a permanent challenge for businesses and requires highest agility. Business models and the way companies are structured is changing their approach  to ICT, for example in new DevOps-models or with application-development and delivery via Cloud Foundry. Digital Sustainability, which looks at disruptive technologies and the constant change in enterprise ICT is a high priority topic fo both SUSE and Adfinis SyGroup. That is why, for SUSE and Adfinis SyGroup topics like no vendor-lock-in, broad ranging partnerships, interoperability and open standards are core in their philosophy. Both companies are members of a parliamentary group for digital sustainability Parldigi and the Swiss open source business community  ch open, which are both actively fostering open source and open standards in Switzerland.

SUSE Innovation Award 2017

Earlier this year at the SUSE Partner Summit Central Europe 2017 in Munich, Adfinis SyGroup also received an award as an important strategic partner in the category “Technology” – the SUSE Innovation Award 2017 for Central Europe (German blog SUSE Innovationspreis).
