What do we do as partners?
Novell and Dell have had a long-standing OEM partnership since the days of NetWare. Dell runs its IT infrastructure on multiple Novell products, including SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, NetWare®, Novell Identity Manager and Novell Sentinel™. Dell has an enterprise support program for OEM products from Novell whereby Dell offers direct support for Novell products that Dell sells through OEM (currently only SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 and 11).
Does Dell sell SUSE products?
Dell sells SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 (64 bit) and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 (64 bit) through the OEM channel. Dell's Software and Peripheral Group can sell any product on the Novell Open Business Price List.
Is there a bundle/OEM option specific to Dell?
The bundle for OEM is Dell Hardware + SUSE Linux Enterprise Server + Dell support (fully enabled).
Can the OEM bundle be purchased through SUSE?
Dell buys all SUSE solutions via distribution through Ingram Micro.
