Nils Brauckmann, President and General Manager

As President and General Manager for SUSE, Nils Brauckmann is responsible for leading the continued development and distribution of the industry's first Linux operating system. He manages development, sales, marketing, technical support, pre-sales consulting and consulting services for the SUSE Linux solutions worldwide.

Brauckmann has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, serving in cross-functional and international management positions. He first joined WRQ in 1994 (acquired by Attachmate in 2004) and has held various management roles across Attachmate sales, marketing and support organizations in EMEA. Other previous companies he worked for include Novell and Siemens Nixdorf, where he started his technology career. Brauckmann has considerable leadership experience in due diligence and integration processes associated with mergers and acquisitions.

Brauckmann holds a diploma in Safety Engineering from the University of Wuppertal in Germany.

Ralf Flaxa, Vice President of Engineering

As Vice President of Engineering for SUSE, Ralf Flaxa is responsible for leading the team of engineers that develop SUSE Linux solutions.

Flaxa joined and contributed to the Linux community since late 1991 and has over 15 years of international management experience working for global organizations building Linux products. In 2002 he joined SUSE and later Novell where he held various engineering management roles related to the delivery of SUSE Linux solutions such as SUSE Linux Enterprise Server and openSUSE.

He holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany.

Ronald de Jong, Vice President of EMEA Sales

As Vice President of EMEA sales for SUSE, Ronald de Jong is responsible for leading SUSE Linux solution sales activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

de Jong has over 20 years of experience in business development and sales oriented positions in the IT industry. In 2006 Ronald started as General Manager at Novell. Earlier, he worked at Computer Associate as Channel Director and was Director World Wide Business Partners at Compaq and then managed the World Wide Global and Corporate Accounts for HP after the merger in 2000. As General Manager Benelux at Novell, he was responsible for all Novell activities in the Benelux market. In addition he served as Vice President Data Center and was responsible for all data center solution sales activities in EMEA.

de Jong holds a degree in electronics.

Boris Ivancic, Vice President and General Manager, Asia Pacific

Boris Ivancic is responsible for all NetIQ, Novell, SUSE and Attachmate activities in the Asia Pacific region, including Australia, New Zealand, China, India and Singapore.

Ivancic has been with Attachmate since 1999. Prior to Attachmate, he was the Sales Director for Australia and New Zealand for Lotus Development and also held various sales and channel management roles with Compaq.

Ivancic holds an electrical engineering degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University).

Edwin Bowman, General Manager, Latin America

Edwin Bowman is responsible for all NetIQ, Novell, SUSE and Attachmate activities in Mexico, Central and South America for The Attachmate Group.

He brings extensive sales and management experience to his role and has been a top sales contributor for more than 10 years. Prior to joining The Attachmate Group, Bowman was sales director for NCR Corporation. He brings a wealth of knowledge in solutions to his role, as well as strong skills in working with valued enterprise customers.

Bowman holds an MBA. from the University of Cincinnati, and Bachelors degrees in management and finance.

Michael Miller, Vice President of Global Alliances & Marketing

As Vice President of Global Alliances & Marketing for SUSE, Michael Miller is responsible for growing the SUSE Linux business globally through key alliances and innovative technology initiatives.

Miller has over 14 years of experience across a broad range of leadership and management roles including director level positions in engineering, product management, marketing and business development. Miller applies a practical and results-driven approach to building business alliances and relationships and is now focused on growing the SUSE Linux Enterprise business globally through key strategic relationships.

He holds an MBA from the University of Baltimore, a Masters in English from Western Washington University and a Bachelors degree in Literature from Marquette University.

John Delk, Vice President, Strategic Accounts, Partners & Alliances

As vice president of Strategic Accounts, Partners & Alliances for SUSE, John Delk is responsible for leading the Strategic Accounts, Service Providers, Global Alliances and the Americas Partner Organization teams.

Prior to joining SUSE, Delk held a number of management positions at Novell. He lead the field teams focused on the company's Data Center Solutions, including solutions for SUSE Linux Enterprise, data center consolidation and optimization, virtualization and cloud management. He previously served as vice president at EDS and managing partner at BearingPoint/KPMG Consulting where he was responsible for leading teams that developed industry-leading capabilities focused on effective use of technology for enterprise customers in the finance and telecommunications industry verticals.

Delk holds an MS degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech and a Bachelors degree in Math and Computer Science from Furman University.
