You can access our free installation form by using a Web form on our portal, by YaST module, by e-mail, or telephone.

Often, incorrectly spelled commands, links, or directory names cause problems, particularly if they were dictated over the phone. Please formulate your question or problem as briefly and accurately as possible using the

If you send questions by e-mail, please always quote your 14-character registration code, which you will find on the back of the CD cover.

In order to open a support request, you first need to create an account for yourself in our customer portal. Then you can register your 14 digit registration code on your portal account.

Installation support by telephone?

We also provide free installation support by telephone. We will make every effort to solve your problem quickly and directly over the phone.

Please have your 14-character registration code to hand, and make sure that you are already registered. Only registered SUSE LINUX users are entitled to installation support.

Please note that a telephone query should not usually last more than 5 minutes.

In our experience the demand is much higher at 1 p.m. than later in the afternoon. Therefore, if you do not get through to a support employee on the telephone hotline immediately, please try again later or contact us via the portal or by e-mail, as described above.
