Novell And Software AG Announce Partnership To Accelerate Adoption On Linux In Xml Database Market

Agreement Marks The Creation Of Solution Stack Based On SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 And Tamino XML Server
Novell Inc., (Nasdaq: NOVL) today announced a strategic
partnership with Software AG to accelerate the adoption of Linux in the
XML database software market.
Under the agreement
Software AG will develop a solution stack based on Novell's SUSE Linux
Enterprise Server 9 and its Tamino XML Server and its EntireX Mediator
integration product.
"Critically, under this agreement,
Novell provides partner support for our SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9
to Software AG, which will enable it to realise significant overall
projects cost savings," said Johan Rosius, Vice President, Alliances,

partner is another important step toward driving the adoption of Linux
in Europe's XML database market. It also serves to extend our alliance
