The SUSE LINUX Maintenance Program - Flexible, Expandable, Efficient

Maintenance Program

Maintenance

The SUSE LINUX Portal provides users of the SUSE LINUX Maintenance Program with the latest information, tips and tricks, enhancements, and bug fixes for all current SUSE LINUX products in a well-arranged, comprehensive, and topical form. Customers are promptly notified by e-mail about new bug fixes, functional enhancements, or product innovations.

Updates

Functional enhancements are available for download in the SUSE LINUX Portal. Using the graphical update tool YOU, functional enhancements and bug fixes can easily be installed.

Optionally, additional installation kits (CDs and manuals) for current product versions and installation kits for new product versions can be purchased.

On request, the installation kit will be delivered whenever a new product version is released. The effective SUSE LINUX Maintenance Program automatically applies to all product versions.

Support

Following the registration, the customer is eligible for e-mail support for the installation of the servers and the connection to the company network. This installation support is now available for the entire term of the Maintenance Program.

Additionally, customers can make use of the online Support Database (SDB).

The SUSE LINUX Support Database contains the accumulated expertise and technical details on all versions of all SUSE LINUX products.

The SUSE LINUX Maintenance Program is the basis and prerequisite for an extensive portfolio of advanced SUSE LINUX Support offers that make sure the company gets qualified assistance from the SUSE LINUX experts for the running system - at fixed prices, with guaranteed turnaround times, and around the clock, if necessary.
