Certified Software

The availability of powerful applications requires a technically superior operating system. SUSE LINUX works with a variety of Technology Partners, all of whom develop their applications to take advantage of the SUSE LINUX environment. These Applications are available for all application and infrastructure areas.
Being a Member of the Technology Partner Program Brings many advantages, all of which are described in the Technology Partner Program Guide (PDF). From DataManagment and Backup, through Development, eCommerce, ERP systems, Graphics and Video Tools to Office, Security and Branch Solutions – a complete palette of certified applications is available.
But it isn't mandatory to be a Technology Partner to certify an application for SUSE LINUX. Using the SUSE LINUX READY Program, all software vendors can test their software in a SUSE LINUX operating environment and certify it themselves.

Oracle on SUSE LINUX:

SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server has been deployed and tested by Oracle itself, and it is officially validated as a supported operating system platform for Oracle 8i and 9i.

mySAP on SUSE Linux:

SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server for the 32-bit Intel architecture was awarded the status "Generally Available for mySAP Business Suite". This certification now enables companies all over the world to utilize mySAP on SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server and receive full support from SAP AG.

VERITAS

Exciting news! SUSE LINUX has formed a strategic alliance with VERITAS, the world's leading storage software company. SUSE and VERITAS will work together in the development, certification, support and sale of VERITAS storage management and high availability software on the SUSE LINUX Enterprise Server platform.
